Helm ("we", "our", or "us") is a macOS application built by an independent developer. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Email address. When you join the waitlist or purchase a license, we collect your email address. This is used to send you a confirmation, deliver your license key, and notify you of the launch or major updates.
Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Crash reports. If enabled, the app sends anonymous crash reports via Sentry to help us fix bugs. No personal information is included.
Helm does not collect, transmit, or store:
— The names, URLs, or contents of the apps and files in your workflows
— Your browsing history or tab URLs
— Keystrokes or clipboard contents
— Any usage analytics or behavioral data
Your workflows are stored locally on your Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/Helm/ and never leave your device.
Your email is used only to:
— Send your license key after purchase
— Notify you when Helm ships (waitlist)
— Send critical security or update notices
We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.
Waitlist emails are deleted once Helm has launched and all signups have been notified. License emails are retained as long as necessary to support your purchase.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will remove your information within 30 days.
Helm uses the following third-party services:
— Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
— Resend — transactional email (resend.com/privacy)
— Sentry — crash reporting (sentry.io/privacy)
Helm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top and notify active users by email.
